I have an '01 GSXR 1000. When I bought it, it had been sitting for two years. I brought it home and charged up the battery. First it didn't really want to start because the power commander on it was mapped all wrong. After I got it started, I took it down the road and ended up pushing it part of the way back. The clutch is slipping BAD! I bought new fibers for it. But still it didn't fix the problem. A buddy of mine took a look at it and we think that it is bottoming out. Hitting the case. We doubled up one of the fibers because we thought that maybe we were either missing a steel or a fiber. Now it will drive down the road, but it still slips pretty bad. I took another look at it and I'm not missing either plates. I got 9 steels and 10 fibers. But then why did that help when I doubled up one of the fibers?

Has anyone else ever had an problems even close. I am at a total loss here!
