I wanted to post a quick review of the new Super Black reflective tape at www.streetglo.net

I have bought a number of reflective decals from them, and I even used streetglo for my
boat lettering decal on the transom. First.. this stuff is very reflective. It can be seen quite
easily from a distance and it helps keep you safe (in my opinion) at night. Streetglo advertises
what they call "Invisible reflective tape" that is simply a shiny black tape that will basically
disappear when attached to any shiny black object such as a motorcycle frame, fender, fairing,
bicycle, etc. The advantage of this is that you really don't want to accent the frame with
gaudy reflectors, so the black on black reflective tape is a really cool way to make your frame
reflective.

The problem with every brand of black reflective tape is simple.. It's difficult to get a bright reflection
thru black. However, they claimed this is a super bright black tape and I went ahead and bought it.

I've got to tell you, It's totally black, as dark as you can get. But when light hits it, it turns a
very bright white. It's twice as white as my black pinstripe from another company. If you want
a great way to add reflectivity to your motorcycle, and the frame is black, you should check out this
kit. it's inexpensive.. under $10.00 with shipping and you can't go wrong.

Check out the black reflective tape at: http://www.streetglo.net/...cycle.frame.kit.html

Hey ZapP! Thanks a lot for the info. I'll be placing an order right away. I've never seen anything like it. My bmw panniers are black and although I see reflective tape as a life saver I never went for it because of the color contrast (stupid I know :) But now I have no excuse! Thanks a lot!

Wow, I am totally impressed I only got refflective tape that was partially black and it also kept peeling off the frame, i'll check the site out I think i'm going to buy some, these thinks look killer by night( at least old ones did, can't wait to see how this would look) and can save you from death in some cases

I think that an extra bit of attention, and also a clean and maintained lighting system will keep you out of trouble, these kits don't really please me they are too flashy and make the bike look ugly at night Frown

Agreed but that extra bit of style can't hurt, but as you said it's a matter of style and personal preferences

I don't want to be rude but those things are really ugly on any bike Frown . I've seen some neon kits around here, maybe those will look much better than this and clearly make the whole bike more visible

Looks great but I’d trust a pair of good clean back and front light over this
