...what do you remember? For the record, today was my first 300+ mile day. Started last weekend camping with my son's friends' uncle saying, "I wish I could commute on my bike to work everyday like you, but have you ever done a 300 mile day?" Today at 7:00am, 48F, foggy, hungry, and a half tank of gas, we departed from Nockamixon SP for Delaware River/Canal, Del Water Gap, Del SP, Promised Land SP, Lk Wallenpaupack, Prompton SP, Lackawanna SP, Nescopeck SP, Leigh Gorge SP, Jim Throrpe/Flagstaff Mtn Overlook, Trexler/Leigh Valley Game Preserve, and arrived home at 4:05pm after 326 miles and a Belgium waffle breakfast. The only thing I regret, I forgot my Chapstick and didn't take the time to buy one. Tonight, the only thing that's sore are my knees and my calves are achy - I could really feel the vibration after my Wendy's late lunch Frosty at 2:00pm. How was your first 300+?
