Hey thanks for the tips. So here's the update. I did not leave any gas in the tank so thats safe. I put in new spark plugs, new battery, oil change with new filter, new gas. I think that's it. Tried to start it and got nothing. I mean it turned over real well due to the new battery but no real good firing. So I decided to dig in to the carburator. In the interest of simplicity I took it loose from the frame and did not disconnect the throttle cable, but diconnected everything else and took it apart and cleaned it. It was NASTY.....full of bad gas, and some green build up at the bottom of the bowl and on some of the jets. So I smothered it in carb cleaner and scrubbed it all clean. Put it all back together and tried to start it again. It Started!! I was so excited until it died 5 seconds later. Tried again, same thing. So now I cannot keep it running for more than 5 seconds literally. Since then I have taken the carb apart again 2-3 more times to clean it. And each time it is full of new gas, so I know that the gas is getting from the tank to the carb. And I took a plug out to make sure I am getting spark and I am. So now I am stuck!! Someone I spoke with told me to put a carb kit on it, but the guy at the parts store said that if I have already cleaned the jets and can see that the small holes are clear then a carb kit isn't going to help any. So LONG...LONG story short it's still not running and I'm stuck. Amanda
