Hello Chris,

Good to hear from you! And thank you for your hard work in Iraq, stay as safe as you can and let's go for a bike ride when you get back. I'm in California but would love to ride wherever is a good meeting point :)

The GSX-R 750 is a great Sport riding choice. A proven winner that will keep your adrenaline rising... The right bike depends on what you intend to use it mainly for. Let me know what your future riding plans are and I will throw in my suggestions. If you like sport, make sure you also check out the yamaha R1 and R6, and the Kawasaki Ninja series. Just take it easy the first few months because all those are real FAST!

I have an Alpinestar jacket and pants combo and is a great fit and good quality. Good price too. Check out Sidi boots (the best in my opinion), Held gloves (my favorites) and Aerostich Roadcrafter one piece suit (I don't think it has an Army style option but it is the best piece of equipment you can ever own, I use mine everyday and it is amazing... http://www.aerostich.com )

For helmets I would stick to Arai or Shoei.

I can't wait to hear more!

Greetings from Cali,

David
