I have a '04 Connie that I just bought 2 weeks ago. I have pulled my tank back a few times, not removed but slid back. I
noticed one of the round rubber dampers was missing. Looking around
below and in the fairings, I couldn't find the missing damper. I looked
at the one still in place and it just pops right off the post. Is this
normal? I think there is a bolt that holds these on with my '82
Honda. I ordered 2 to have an extra for the Connie. I'm thinking of
putting some adhesive on the dampers when I put them back on. Has
anyone else had this issue?
