I want to purchase a new backrest for the passenger on a new 2008 Concours 14...and / or would like feedback on the GIVI 47 top luggage case with backrest ...Just through the 600 mile break-in. I really like this machine!!! CAN'T WAIT TO WIND HER OUT!!! Anybody with complaints out there???? ANY INTERESTING STORIES TO TELL ABOUT OWNING THE NEW CONCOURS?? I am leaving on a trip from Tampa Bay Area in Florida to Cape Ann Massachusetts in a few weeks (back road and mountain touring most of the trip) and I hope to have some good pictures to post after my return. My last distance ride was on my Honda Hurricane cbr 1000) from Tampa Bay to California (southern route) North on hwy 1 to Gig Harbor, Washington North to Canada and return home to Florida (northern route). STOPS ALONG THE WAY: Graceland, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Oregon coast, Gig Harbor, Mount Rainier, Vancouver, Columbia river, Donner Pass/Truckee, mountains North of Area 51, Fishlake National Forest (UTAH),Denver, Saint Louis and home. Is motorcycling great or what?!!!!
P.S. I am also shopping for a trailer hook-up for two-up camping trips; information along those lines would be appreciated.
