Hi Dave,
the answer to u r question in connection with windshields,would be what suits you, as to it being for cosmetic appearance or to keep the flying bugs out of your face.I have a r1200c Montauk and feel that the windshield is a little low, and have to use a visor with my crashhelmet.When cruiseing on the highway, certain patches I experience a heck of a lot of turbulence, jerking my jacket around, and I think it is the windshield, causeing this.There is a great site you can register for free, by going on the net and look for Chromeheads, who have advice on a wide range of technical issues.The guys are very helpful, and am sure you will enjoy, cause it's just on Cruisers.

I'm trying to figure out what my options are concerning choosing a windshield for my recently purchased R1200C. Does anyone out there have any opinions or experience with windshields for the 2000 BMW Cruiser? Thanks!
