Just bought 1996 R1100RT. 1st BMW and emotional purchase w/o research.
Issue 1: Slight grind 50% of the time into 3rd. Occassional hard grind. Grind downshifting into 1st above 20mph. No grind below that speed. Issue 2: When stopped and idling, put into nuetral and then hear a slight GURRR. Same if instead of nuetral I pull in the clutch. I appreciate your diagnosis and what next. THANKS HYMERDUE
